In early April a letter from the First Minister of Scotland was delivered to all households, acknowledging the challenging times and difficulties being faced, as the “impact of COVID-19 reaches each and every one of us”. It places emphasis on the need to follow government guidelines and the 'staying at home' restriction, with assurance that support and advice is being provided to individuals, families and communities. The reverse of the letter is devoted to “What to do if you or someone in your household has symptoms”, with specific isolation details, and the letter was accompanied by an A5 guidance leaflet.
