Spinningdale
Six photographs of property in Spinningdale from a CD containing 125 photographs of Dornoch and the surrounding area, scanned from old photos and postcards. Photographs apparently acquired/borrowed by Barry Turner from Mrs Thompson, Castle Hotel.
The first image is of a house overlooking the Kyle of Sutherland on the easter approach to Spinningdale. The second (104) shows the Old Mill Inn standing on the first of the bends in the road into Spinningdale; (105) the shop and petrol station on the second bend; (106) the approach to the second bend with shop and petrol station on the right; (107) ruins of the old Spinningdale Mill viewed from the northern side and (108) a postcard inscribed 'Spinningdale, Dornoch' with a view of the mill ruins from the western side.
