Skibo Castle
First of four photographs of Skibo Castle showing the eastern facade of the castle, its main entrance and sweeping circular drive. The Castle was extensively renovated to become the home of Andrew Carnegie. The second photograph (100) is a portrait orientation colour painting of the Castle tree-lined drive, the third (101) a landscape orientated monochrome photograph of the the southern castle facade with gardens with fountain and the fourth (102) a portrait orientated view of the southern facade. All photographs from a CD containing 125 photographs of Dornoch and the surrounding area, scanned from old photos and postcards. Photographs apparently acquired/borrowed by Barry Turner from Mrs Thompson, Castle Hotel.
