Cutting tool used by watchmaker Andrew Alexander Paul, Golspie, for making watch faces of glass or plastic. The cutting tool is adjustable on a horizontal screwed thread and the glass is held vertically on a rotary head. Marked "RPV Patent Made in Austria Marque Deposee". Clamped to right hand end of work bench, handle removed for safety.

I think it can be assumed that Andrew Paul acquired his complete set of watchmaker's tools when setting up his own business post WW1 on his demobilisation following service in the Flying Corps. Thus the year range could be 1918 - 20 Administrator
