A full page advertisement published in the Daily Telegraph on Saturday 30 May 2020 with 'Brought to you by the UK Government' at top left, providing details of the roles of the Armed Forces and the Foreign Office in response to the Coronavirus pandemic. In a summary at the foot of the page the Armed Forces are credited with providing 92 mobile testing stations, delivering 689 million gloves, 23 million gowns, 184 million aprons and 158 million masks to NHS staff, mobilising 440 personnel to support Ambulance Services, and deploying 4,000 personal to 30 April 2020. The Foreign Office are credited with staff covering 1,700 miles, involving 5 different drivers and crossing 7 States to make sure British citizens could return from the US, disembarking 19,000 British passengers who were aboard 60 cruise ships, and chartering 142 special Government charter flights to bring British travellers back to the UK from 27 countries.
