A rare opportunity during coronavirus lock-down to appreciate the architecture of the frontage of the old Dornoch Jail in the absence of parked cars and pedestrians. This building is now occupied by the prestigious department store 'Jail Dornoch', which was closed under coronavirus regulations in keeping with all other shops and stores not selling food or medicines classified as ‘essential items’.
