Extract from the Northern Times entitled 'Silversmith gets a Gold Star'. The article is accompanied by a colour photograph and covers the workshop held on Saturday 11 January 2020 by Peter Rowland. He demonstated using 18th Century techniques, the manufacture of a silver spoon from an ingot, made from scrap silver which he had melted down. The workshop was part of the Longhouse Project funded by Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).
