The gentleman named as Granda Hutton looks awful like father of the bride, Willie Wright to me. I knew Willie Wright well when I was growing up in Embo in the 40s and 50s. Willie was then the owner of the Dornoch Dairy with its ice cream shop just behind Grants the Butchers in Dornoch. Willie delivered fresh milk to Embo homes using a small van. Beattie, his daughter, served in the ice cream shop and was known for both her beauty and pleasing personality.
