Fishy Tales interviews Christine and Bella Mackay
DVD of a video produced by Peter Wild recording the recollections of 'Herring Harvesters', Christine and Bella Mackay of Embo, providing an account of their experiences in following the herring to various fishing ports in Scotland and England. [See picture #13652 Heritage Society Film night] [In the interests of future proofing objects in the collection, it has been museum practice to update audio recordings and films, keeping pace with advances in technology, in terms of format and storage medium. Accordingly a Gold DVD was produced in 2012 and, in early 2020 during the coronavirus lock-down with the museum closed , 'Fishy Tales' was produced in MP4 format, to enhance 'virtual museum'online presence.
