Treasure Trove objects from Pitgrudy Field 4 found by metal detection and acquired by the Inverness Museum & Art Gallery. Half of a copper alloy decorated reversible annular brooch with a missing pin. One side of the brooch is decorated with stamped panels imitating letters alternating round the frame at each quarter while the other side is decorated with incised triangles and a series of other lines and marks probably also meant to imitate lettering. There are many further examples of similar brooches from metal-detecting at Sunny Bank, Balloan and Burghfield at Dornoch and this brooch fits nicely with a popular medieval and post-medieval types from the area.
