Extract from the Northern Times of 1912 recording a ceremony held at Embo attended by the Maquis and Marchioness of Stafford for the purpose of the presentation of a Royal Humane Society award for bravery to William Cumming. Detail was acquired for a 2011 Dornoch Schools talk to the Dornoch Heritage Society, by Rick Bramley and John Muir, which later formed the basis for the museum 'Schools Out' exhibition in 2012.
