Souvenir pot bearing the colour Coat of Arms of Dornoch, produced in the shape of an ancient bottle dredged up near the Dogger Bank. Made by Carlton China, Stoke on Trent with a registered number shown on the base 449300

Dimensions: Length 77mm - Width 50mm - Height 60mm

I have the same pot except on the front it says Windsor inside of a banner such as the one above with a shield on top and a castle on the bottom inside of another shield (coat of arms?). All of the same information on the bottom with a 251 to the right of Carlton China and the W&R Stoke on Trent. If you can provide me with any information I would sincerely appreciate it. I am in the USA. Thank you.

W&R stand for Wiltshaw & Robinson and around 1903 they started to produce a range of miniature Heraldic Souvenir China which was emblazoned with heraldic crests. They continued producing these models well into the 1920s and the first of those manufactured were based on artifacts recovered in museums, such as the replica pot shown here. Later on other themes were used such as military, transport, seaside and popular songs. In total almost 1000 different shapes were produced Administrator
