Two page extract from the 'Local Doctor Minute Book' of minutes of a meeting of a public meeting held at the Free Church School House, Dornoch on January 3rd 1889 "for the purpose of considering a report of Sub Committee regarding the building of a house for local Doctor." The outcome of the meeting was "That the various sums collected by different parties for the object referred to, be invested in a house, whether bought or built, which shall cost £300 or thereby." The minutes are signed by the Reverend Neil Taylor, Chairman.
