A series of 3 succeeding upgrades of a CD with photographs and extracts from the diaries of Brenda Loder providing insight to the Loder Family Holidays at Cambusmore Lodge from 1900-1909. The photographs were taken by Brenda Cicely Loder (Mrs Wilfred Lees), the second daughter of Wilfred Hans Loder and his wife Sarah Winifred (nee Rowe) who rented Cambusmore lodge from 1900. The diaries and photographs are from a collection belonging to Miss Rachel Lees, Hinstock Court, Hinstock, Market Drayton, Shropshire, the daughter of Brenda and provide a fascinating insight to social history, at both ends of the spectrum,providing accounts and scenes around Cambusmore, Skelbo, Torboll, Dornoch (golf and Andrew Carnegie), Embo, Helmsdale, Loch Fleet and Dunrobin and others. [The original version of the CD was donated to the museum in 2003 with updated versions in 2005 and 2007. The photographs have been produced as video, slide shows, with captions from the individual image file names on the CD. Part 1 covers holidays from 1903 to 1905 (see picture #11148) and Part 2 holidays from 1906 to 08 (see picture #3500).]
