Video produced from the photographs taken by Brenda Cicely Loder, second daughter of Wilfred Hans Loder and his wife Sarah (nee Rowe) who rented Cambusmore Lodge from 1900 -1909. Extracts from Brenda's diaries (see picture #4559) and her photographs during family holidays 1903 - 1908 are from the collection of her daughter Miss Rachel Lees, Hinstock Court, Hinstock, Market Drayton, Shropshire. The Loder Family Holidays at Cambusmore Part 2 1906 - 08 (c13mins) provides a fascinating insight to social history, at both ends of the spectrum, with images of golf, including the Braid v Vardon match, shooting parties, a visit to Helmsdale, motor cars, the plate cameras used in this period, sand eeling, Sunday School treats, Amat and Cambusmore Lodge.
