One of a series of 30 photographs, taken on 30th May 1990, during the construction of the Dornoch Firth Bridge. The annotation on the back reads ~ Inside the ‘Factory’ on the south causeway, a half–section of bridging is being constructed. The camera is above the future roadway (deck, or table) level and the trough of the section falls away below (centre to right). The deck is being prepared for laying the concrete.
