Treasure Trove coin acquired by Historylinks, described as a "copper and silver coin dated 1552 Mary and Francis billon/hardhead, unc type, three halfpenny piece", found west of Sunny Bank on the Dornoch - Embo road. The only obvious feature is a lion with surmounted crown. The coin at 2010.078 is of the reign of James VI, the son of Mary Queen of Scots and Francis.
