Set of birth, marriage and death records plus the wiill, including details of his estate, of Alexander Gunn , b 1800 in Latherton d 23 Sept 1892 at Achley, Dornoch, who married in 1832 Elizabeth Sutherland b 1816 d 11 May 1892 at Achley. They were innkeepers at the Sutherland Arms Hotel Dornoch, recorded in the census of 1841- 1871 as 'innkeeper and farmer' and latterly in 1881 and 1891 as a farmer of 400 acres at Achley, Dornoch. Dear All

I am the great great grandson of Alexander Gunn through his youngest son William. From records I have the father of Alexander Gunn was Adam Gunn of Beridale. I believe that Adam was not a normal Gunn name but a Gordon clan name. If anybody can further elaborate any detail I would be most appreciative.

My great grandfather was johnsutherland Gunn.
Anyone have any inf on previous ancestry of his father Alexander Gunn and / or David Sutherland / Elizabeth Geddes
