I am delighted to find your web site while researching for the third edition of my book about the Suffragette Emily WIlding Davison. You have proved the point that I have been trying to make regarding the connections between the Suffragists and Suffragettes of the Highlands of Scotland being closely linked to her through her families ties to the area. At 78 I find it amusing that through her Family History and our northern viewpoint we are proving the the way history has chosen to depict her is very different to our version of her story. Keep up the good work in proving history through documentary facts it is much appreciated. Kindest regards Maureen Howes - Morpeth Northumberland.
