Correspondence dated 1967 ( 26 pages) relating to the proposal to close the Dornoch airfield, including letters from Robert Maclennan, MP, Sutherland Estate, the Scottish Council for Development and Industry, Department of Trade and Industry and various potential users, with records of a meeting of interested parties. The documents include Post Office Telegram forms in relation apologies for not being able to attend a meeting. Inter alia the papers cite the dangers from low flying aircraft from RAF Lossiemouth and the Tain ranges (see picture #9142 notes and minutes of a meeting relating the the Dornoch Firth Danger (Flying) Zone.
