Khaki woollen balmoral bonnet with light brown wool pompom and lined with khaki cotton. The bonnet has two sets of eyelets in the band at the back. The fit can be adjusted by a khaki cotton tape which passes through these eyelets. The balmoral was introduced from 1915 as the glengarry proved impractical in trench warfare.
