My ancestor GEORGE MATHESON (from Loth area) joined the Seafoth Highlanders at aged 17/18 in 1780/81 Do you have any records of recruitment of that time please? Comment left on 24 July 2009 at 08:56 by JOHN HOWARTH
Historylinks Museum does not hold any records for the Seaforth Highlanders but The Regimental Museum of the Highlanders (Queen’s Own Highlanders Collection)at Fort George holds the records for several Highland Regiments including the Seaforths.
