Large pocket watch with second hand in white metal case, stamped LNER (London North Eastern Railway) on reverse. The LNER has been scored through with two engraved lines and replaced with BR Sc 1320. The face has black Roman numerals on a white dial and is marked RECORD and SWISS MADE. The watch was used by the donor's father, Andrew Bremner, who worked on the railways in Scotland and England. It was standard railway issue. The watch is externally in good condition but is not working.
