Manual of the Education acts
Book entitled "a manual of the acts relating to education in Scotland", founded on that of the late Mr Craig Sellar, by J. Edward Graham, advocate, published by Wm. Blackwood & Sons, Edinburgh & London. 508 pp plus list of Blackwood publications at end, in dark green covers. Green cloth covered hardback covers with the title, author and publisher in gold lettering along spine. There is wear along both sides and ends of the spine. Front and back covers are a little faded. Inside front cover is starting to split along spine. Inside the front page is inscription in black ink of "J.Jn. Dougale" and on the next page is name in blue ink of "Hugh Gunn Baligill 1910". Pages are stained with age and dirty along the edges. The sections on "Election of school boards" and "Supply of school accommodation" have many marks highlighting references.
