Taylor Model 45C Valve Tester
Taylor Electrical Instruments Ltd Model 45C Valve Tester. Galvanised metal case (a) with sockets for 20 different valves on top. Front has a glass panel with on/off switch and knobs to select valve type, circuit, voltage etc and a dial showing the mutual conductance. It has a carrying handle on each side. One of these has two short lengths of cable and a Taylor's label attached. It has an attached power cable without a plug, four rubber feet, and a clip on the back to hold the instruction manual.
The instruction manual (b) is complete. It has been well-used but is in fair condition. 16 pages stapled. A separate folded sheet (c) from the manufacturer dated 23/9/55 gives amendments to the manual. There is also a harbacked handbook (d) in good condition but with dirty and marked covers entitled "Valve Chart for use with Taylor Valve Testers".
