Photocopy of letter from George Dempster headed Glasgow 31st March 1795, re the accounts of the Balnoe Co "of which you are a Partner". The Balnoe Co appears to be the name of the company running the new mill at Spinningdale. The letter describes the difficulty of setting up the business " in so distant a place" and lists the number of looms, jeannies etc now in use. Further money needed to keep the business afloat and meeting of partners to be held. Probably sent to Dugald Gilchrist. Three loose sheets.
