Colour cartoon postcard from the Basil Hellier collection showing a horseshoe with bunch of white heather and inscription 'Here's luck from Dornoch'. A flap at the foot of the picture reveals a concertina of ten monochrome photographs of Skelbo Glen, the Royal Dornoch Golf club house, Dornoch Hotel, Skibo Castle, Dornoch from the west, Castle Street, High Street, the beach and links, Castle and County court building and Dornoch Firth. There is a date 1954 at bottom right of the card. It is unused and the reverse contains detail indicating it is part of a Mail Novelty collection
