WW! Death Plaque mounted in a wooden stand

A World War 1 death plaque as sent to the parents of military personnel who were killed in action or died of wounds. The inscription on the perimeter of the plaque reads 'He Died for Freedom and Honour' with Donald Mackay's name at centre right. The wooden frame has been constructed with a small hinged support at centre rear.

Dimensions: Length280 mm - Height 160 mm depth 100 mm with support
