An oak display case with mounted medals awarded to Lance Sergeant Donald Mackay MM, 7th Seaforth Highlanders killed in action on the Somme 1916. A monochrome photograph of Donald in tropical dress uniform is mounted on the right. The medals, left-to-right are a replica Military Medal, Bronze Mons Star 1914-15 awarded to those serving with the British Expeditionary Force, 1914-1918 Defence Medal and 1914-1919 Victory Medal.
