A talk by Wade Cormack given at the Royal Dornoch Golf Club Oct 2013 'The History of Sport and Culture in the Moray Firth region 1600 - 1800'. This was an introductory talk at the start of his PhD research at the University of the Highlands and Islands HI 'Centre of History' in Dornoch, with sponsorship by the Royal Dornoch Golf Club (RDGC) to bridge the gap in knowledge in the lead up to the town's 400 Years of Golf in Dornoch celebrations in 2016.
