Dornoch Burgh Ceremonial Regalia – 9th engraved shield of Chain of Office
Working anti-clockwise from the central enamelled crest, the ninth engraved shield bears the inscription ‘George McIntosh Provost 1919 - 1922.’ beneath which there is a second inscription ‘John Murray Provost 1922 - 1948’.
