Thanks to NHS and key workers

As UK hospital coronavirus admissions increased and the pressures on the NHS became apparent from television news portrayal of isolation wards with doctors and nurses in personal protection equipment, there was increasing general appreciation of the dedication of NHS staff at all levels. This became readily apparent with the addition of 'NHS' or ‘Thanks to the NHS’ added to rainbow posters. Within a short period the dedication of other key workers, supporting the NHS and maintaining services to those self isolating in their homes, led to extension of the posters of gratitude to 'Key Workers'. Both types of poster appeared at the family home of Carol and Gary Gruber and their young children.
