Wall-mounted wooden box telephone with a metal cradle on the left side to support telephone handset of bakelite with logo 'TEL'. The front plate bears a small plaque bearing legend ''LISTEN BEFORE RINGING CODE''. The rear wooden plate is held by nine screws and carries the (serial?) number N1183A2. There are three wires issuing from a circular hole on the rear plate and a metal bell on the lower front face.
