Annual Gathering Programme 1955
The Glasgow Sutherlandshire Association Annual Gathering Souvenir Programme 1955 held in the St Andrew's Halls, Glasgow on Friday 25th November 1955 at 7.30 p.m. The programme is in a light blue card covers,, which have advertisements on the inside and back cover and Priced 6d. The main events were a Gaelic and Scottish Concert followed by a Dance in the Main Hall 10.45 p.m. to 2.30 a.m Ticket 5/-. The front and centre-fold page give details of those taking part in the concert. The preceeding pages provide a full page photograph and detail in respect ot the Chairman The Rt Hon Viscount Kilmuir of Creich GCVO, DCL, LLD, a page with details about the Association, a full page photograph of the President Mr John Anderson , followed by a page with details of Office Bearers. The remaining pages have further advertisements and monochrome photographs of Durness and Loch Erribol, Lairg and Loch Shin, Lochinver and Helmsdale.
