Annual Gathering Programme 1956
The Glasgow Sutherlandshire Association Annual Gathering Souvenir Programme 1956 held in the St Andrew's Halls, Glasgow on Friday 23rd November 1956 at 7.30 p.m. The programme is in a green card covers,, which have advertisements on the inside and back cover and Priced 6d. The main events were a Gaelic and Scottish Concert followed by a Dance in the Main Hall 11 p.m. to 2.30 a.m. The front and centre-fold page give details of those taking part in the concert. The preceeding pages provide a full page photograph and detail in respect ot the Chairman George J Grant, a page with details about the Association and a full page photograph of the President John Anderson Esq. , followed by a page with details of Office Bearers, a full page photograph with names of the Ladies Committee 1956-57. followed by further advertisements and monochrome photographs of Lochinver and Suilven, Clachan, Bettyhill, Badcall Bay, Scourie, Helmsdale, Dunrobin from the Sea, Durness and Loch Erribol, and Lairg and Loch Shin.
