A small brooch made of thin grade metal, with a central shield surmounted by a coronet, crossed swords and two oak leaves. The scroll draped on the crossed sword has the inscription YPRES. On the reverse is a brooch pin hinge but no other parts of the pin remain in place. Likely to be a souvenir of WW1.
