Kitchen utensil for cutting oranges in the preparation of marmalade. This utensil came from the kichen of Kyleview, Dornoch. The circular case encloses the cutting disc which is operated by a metal arm with wooden handle. The case is embossed, 'The "Rapid" Marmalade Cutter', Prov Pat No N025866/32. Follows & Bate Ltd, Manchester. The column mounted on the case which is used to insert orange segments has a close fitting wooden plunger. The whole utensil can be clamped to a work surface.
