" I just got the notion stuck in my head that the Dornoch Light Railway is sure to succeed the plan is complete that all of you no(sic) its a grand bit of Brain Work for Billy Barlow"

This is followed by 'Oh Dear', followed by: "There is a great stir on with the council the now and put all rights or wrongs to the rigger you know".

The second comment reads "Ladies and gentlemen I come back again with your aprobation I feel rather vain but the moral I stick to as all of you know is the fine corporation of Billy Barlow Oh Dear"

The remaining comments have been subject to amendment and are somewhat illegible.
