Copy of the family history of Alexander Ross Gray born in Paisley 6 November 1898 who died in 'Benoran' Dornoch 6 January 1960. The family history is illustrated with colour and monochrome photographs. Alexander moved with his family to Dornoch after a long career in journalism. The family history, completed 18 February 2018, was compiled by his son Gilbert Alastair Gordon who "embarked on a pilgramage" trying to record the life of his father, having realised that he hardly knew him. As a result of his own career he realised that, apart from childhood and adolescent years, he was in his company for about four years.
