Two single deck Route 17 buses Dornoch Bus Garage

From the Sinclair collection, a colour photograph of two single deck buses parked at Dornoch Bus Garage. The buses both bear the inward route destination 'Dornoch'. The No.17 service left Dornoch each morning for 'Inverness', returning in the evening. The bus to the left, the first of the batch of Reliance to be formally converted for bus operation, bears a registration plate DXA 405C, the suffix C being first used in 1965. The bus on the right AV2 is now also bus livery (cf previous image).
