From the ‘Gillespie Collection’ of monochrome prints from glass photographic plates, a photograph of a lorry carrying a group dressed in typical highland crofters clothing. The lorry has a stag's head fixed at the front and a large banner bearing a symbol surrounded by the words "An Comunn Gaidealach". The registration of the lorry is "JS7062". The parade is driving west along Castle Street in this picture; the cathedral spire can be seen above the rooftops.
