Monochrome photograph with inscription on the reverse "Chair made by Angus MacKay 'The Father of Cycles'". The chair centre back panel is carved with a view of Dornoch cathedral. The back rails have finials in the shape of thistles, and the back panel is surmounted by a panel of flowers and a bird on a log. (see also 2003.119 - the same photograph recorded as being on a mount with inscription reference "From Cheadle House (now Bookshop)")
