A Special Constabulary Medal with white, blue and red ribbon and Defence Medal 1939-45 with green, blue and red ribbon, award to 467 William Ross Sutherland Police Force. Both metals were contained in a white cardboard box with handwritten inscription 'Police Medal' at top left, and a typewritten label '467 Sutherland William Ross. Enclosed within the box was a copy of a certificate relating to the Defence Medal. with Royal Coat of Arms in red and citation of recognition of service during the war of 1939-45
