Small Towns Charter Declaration 18 Apr 2005
A framed copy of the 'Small Towns Charter Dornoch Declaration 18 Apr 2005' whereby the representatives of ten small communities girding the Inner Moray Firth pleged a shared commitment and best endeavours to advance the prosperity, appearance and well being of their community. The charter was signed by representatives of Alness Initiative, Dingwall Initiative, Dornoch Focus Group, Vision Golspie, Invergordon Development Partnership, Inverness City Partnership, Kyle of Sutherland Trust, Nairn Initiative, Rogart for the Future and Tain Initiative. The sponsoring organisations' logo at top right are: Caithness and Sutherland Enterprise, Ross & Cromarty Enterprise, Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey Enterprise, Europe and Scotland Making it work together, The Highland Council, Northern Periphery and STN. The signatories for Dornoch Focus Group were Councillor Duncan Allan and Chris Fern. The charter is in a gold faced wood frame with glass covering.
