An article published in the Northern Times of Friday 18 July 2014, recording the unveiling of a revised plan, at a public exhibition on 29th July 2014, for the development of the derelict Dornoch abattoir site. The first speculative plan presented in 2012 for a 2500 sq m supermarket was not well received with 24 representations against it. It was revised and represented in March 2013 but the application was refused in May of that year.
