Robert Gordon was born at Clashmugach and there are other images on this site which feature members of his family. The death certificate of his eldest sister, Isabella, can be seen in this library at picture #1368. The second of his three sisters, Mary, married Duncan Mackay of Burnside, Birichen, and a photo of her and her two children can be seen at picture #1122. Robert's younger brother, George Gordon, married Jean Omand of Evelix and lived in Birichen. There are lots of items concerning George Gordon and his family in the image library including a large number of postcards - many of which appear to have been sent home from New York and Vancouver by Robert Gordon.
