Young Dancers step things up at competition
Article published in the Northern Times of March 14, 2014 with the title 'Young Dancers step things up at competition' under a banner heading 'Tiny Edderton school shines at event'. The article with colour photographs reports the annual schools County Dancing event held once again at Brora Primary School. In a delightful and keenly contested evening all the primary schools in the area were represented and well supported by a large audience of family, friends and teachers. Ultimately the team from Edderton won not only the small schools trophy but the highest score and the trophy for the best team in the whole event, with Dornoch place a close second. The win was an amazing achievement for the small Edderton school of 19 pupils. Earlier during the day the Edderton girl's were also successful in becoming the small school winners in the Ross-shire cross-country championship.
