Copies of two letters (3 pages) – one to Hugh Ross, annotated by Louise Carnegie reference payment for the building of the new Skibo school and the second presumed to be from Mr Whittet, Factor of Skibo to Mrs Carnegie, dated 5 January 1940 concerning the opening ceremony for the new school. The documents were acquired for the purposes of a 2011 Dornoch Schools talk to the Dornoch Heritage Society, by Rick Bramley and John Muir, which later formed the basis for the museum 'Schools Out' exhibition in 2012.
