Copy of a Northern Times article on the opening of a new school at Skibo, a gift from Mrs Carnegie. The opening ceremony was performed by Mrs J P Whitter, wife of the Skibo Factor, The article refers to Mrs Carnegie's personal interest in the education of the children of Clashmore. This copy was acquired for the purposes of a 2011 Dornoch Schools talk to the Dornoch Heritage Society, by Rick Bramley and John Muir, which later formed the basis for the museum 'Schools Out' exhibition in 2012.
