Iron – single loop rectangular buckle with pin, corroding.
Probably horse harness and late 16th-19th Century. Very difficult to date this type but appears earlier than others apart from 2012.027.019.
Discovered by a metal detectorist on Pitgrudy Farm, Dornoch.
